However not sure if it is safe for you in your situation. Real protein is also good easy to digest also but they do add other things into their protein. ISO pure is another good choice but I still say optium is the best. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Protein Powder I have tried dozens of protein powders over the past two decades. The best IMHO (and that of a few posters above me) is Optimum Nutrition's 100% Whey. Tastes good, mixes well, economical, and in terms of quality - top 3 on the market. If you are trying to gain weight...skip the gainers !!! Drink an extra shake or two a day of the 100% whey protein on your lifting days. Add a teaspoon of flaxseed oil to your shake and mix it with skim milk and you will get all the extra calories you need (without carb loading off a weight gainer mix, which translates to fat) particularly if you eat like every other football player I know. :sarcasm: I buy it on-line from: http://http://www.ultimate-weight-products.com/page/UN/PROD/O/OP-004-045 But if you live near a GNC, they sell it also (for more $, of course)! It comes in several flavors, one of which may have peanut butter in it. Stay away from that one and (according to the labels) the others do not contain any peanut products. Happy Lifting :glasses: |
