first off - long term depression is not something you can just GET OVER! - can someone just GET OVER their cancer? I don't hink so - who cares why this kid came to this board in the first place the point is he CAME HERE! if you don't want to help - whether this person is real or not - then don't post!

That's what you are using as a defense? you are INSANE if you think that this person's self proclaimed "long term depression" is as bad as cancer.

How do you diagnose something as LONG TERM if you are a child????

I have had people really close to me suffer from depression, and it's nothing to joke about.

i wasn't "diagnosing" anything - he said he has suffered depression since the age of 10 or so - i personally know someone who commited suicide at the age of 11 -
like tanzenite said it's nothing to joke about - if you don't want to help - step off

Muffin, I apologize for taking your problem so lightly. I thought it was someone pretending to be someone else.

I hope that you will feel free to continue to post here if you feel it is helping you. As I said earlier though, no one here can tell you what you need to do. We have some very smart, intelligent people here, but this is not a problem that will be solved by someone over the internet. It will take someone that can sit down with you face to face and discuss your problems.

From your earlier post, you indicated that you were a French student. Did you mean that you were a French major or that you are French?

You mentioned your hard job, what type of work do you do?
