If your eating under 1000 cals, you body is holding onto everything its got so you will survive, that is dangerously low! Eat atleast 1400, you should be at 1500 and up realistically... |

Try HIIT for example, high intense interval training, that works a real treat and its not boring like steady speed. You can jog for say 1 min, jog fast for another minute and run at a faster pace for 1 min and then repeat the cycle another 5-8 times. Do this after your weight training or on a seperate day from weights. Dont give up the weights though as it is a highly anaerobic excercise and helps you use calories alot quicker than cardio. Dont worry about become so muscular as the only way to gain muscle is to eat quite a bit more food which isnt your goal. Also, a really good fat burner is jogging 10-15 mins after youve woken up on an empty stomach. If possible, cover at least 2 miles in about half an hour, then decrease the time you this in or increase the intensity of the jog. Combine hiit aprrox 2-3 times a week and empty stomach am cardio 2-3 times a week along with a calorie deficient diet and you will definately see some results. Also I agree with what people are saying, just really watch your diet. Another good tip is to eat only low gi (glycemic index) carbohydrates such as brown rice, wholewheat bread, beans, wholeweat pasta/spaghetti. Also keep fat incorporated in your diet such as omega fats which you can get from oily fish such as sardines, mackarel and salmon and also by eating nuts like almonds. You should also cycle your carbs as you to prevent your metabolic rate from hitting a plateau, for example mon tues - low carb, wed - med carb, thurs friday - low carb, saturday - high carb, sunday - med carb and then repeat. Its alot of work believe me, but its just your choice whether you want to do it or not and how bad you want to lose the weight. Above all, keep well and stay healthy. |
