Hi all,

I am wondering if anyone has used body wraps for inch reduction? I am currently on a healthy eating regime along with excercising and have started wrapping and it seems to work. I am just wondering if anyone has had any long term results.

Thanks

Never tried them. But they are going to make you lose just most water. Try to avoid sodium and you will lose water that way.

They are great if you are going to an event..quick way to loose inches.

I got sucked into trying them. You lose "10 inches" (or whatever it is) by them measuring you in 25 different places (your shoulder, your bicep, just above your elbow, your forearm, your wrist,......) and adding together all those "1/4" and "1/2" inch "losses". Assuming you really DO lose - afterall, they control the tapemeasure and it isn't like you can measure yourself at home later with that close of accuracy to know if it really happened or didn't!

It is a racket. It works because you want to believe, so for the rest of the day you are careful about what you eat and don't drink anything. Also - the process of having to stand nearly naked in front of a full-length mirror while someone mummy wraps your gelatinous fat into cold wet ace bandages is so supremely humilating that that too acts as an appetite suppressant!!

That said - doesn't mean you can't SELL 'em!

We offer herbal body wraps. I don’t feel that it works to well in regards to inch loss. We promote them as a way to detoxify the skin, not a way to lose inches.

I think the miracle wrap to losing weight is the one at subway, but it takes two in a row to fill me up. The results from the various weight loss wraps out there are sketchy, but I haven't really researched. Good ole fashioned exercise and sensible diet are the only tried and true methods I know of. Good luck.

I am looking at renting a suite in the loft treatment area of the salon to a woman to do infrared body wraps(good for detox more than inch loss IMO, **** it is my office but If I can get some $$ for it, I will do so!

The only way that\'ll take inches off is if you wrap yourself with $100 bills and you use them to pay for the sessions and lotion. I\'m SURE there is no weight loss going on.

I bought a FormoStar InfraRed Body Wrap from Sun Power Source and it not only helps with targeted fat loss and body reshaping but also with pain relief. It is so easy, you just lay on a massage table while you are wraped in 6 infrared pads; 1 around each arm and leg and two others around your stomach and chest. You lay there for a 60 minute session, relax and fall asleep.
