okay, this has nothing to do with tanning, but i had a question.

when i went on birth control (oral contraceptives) a year or so ago i gained 10-15 pounds within 6 months. that was a good thing, im always trying to gain weight. well about 5 months ago i went off of the pills and switched to the shot. well the shot did not work well with my body so i switched back after one does was finished (3 months), and went back on the pill.

so do you think since the pill was out of my system for 3 months, that i will gain the weight again?

i think that you will. I was on the pill for about a year, and i gained about 5-10 lbs. Then, I got off of it for about 10 months and lost the weight. Then, I got back on it and gained 5-10 lbs again. So i was off of it for 10 months, and I still gained the weight back. So I think that you will.

thanks. when i went off i never lost the weight, of coarse i never tried. i am looking forward to gaining more weight if it is possible.

i know that certain medications take a certain amount of time to get out of your system. i am hoping that three months was long enough.

why dont you ask your doctor?

i probably will. its just not that big of a deal that i need to ask doctors im jsut hoping i will gain weight.
and my and my gyno have some problems i go in there for my prescription and thats about it

the first time i went there i was going to go on birth control but i wasnt sexually active yet. i mostly wanted birth control to make my flow lighter and more predictable and to gain weight. and the doctor had the nerve to pat me on the knee and say "honey, its okay to eat"...implying that i was anorexic...wow i almost blew up in her face.

but i am going to web md to see what it says there.
