Rep Power: 26 | 1. "Increasing evidence now indicates that cutaneous vitamin D synthesis is of great importance for the prevention of a broad variety of diseases, including various malignancies." 2. "It has been postulated that cancer mortality could be reduced via careful UV exposure." 3. These new findings (about the beneficial effects of vitamin D) must be taken into account when establishing new sun protection guidelines for the prevention of skin cancer." The paper these quotes came from was written by prominent dermatologists! Why? A key sentence tells you why this dermoterrorist™ "paradigm shift" is underway. "Better understanding of the metabolism of vitamin D in the skin has opened up new perspectives for the therapeutic application of vitamin D analogs." The "bottom line" is that the derms are taking steps to control the dispensation of vitamin D analogs which proves "Smith's Rule" (once again) that there aren't intertwined snakes on the medical caduceus; rather, they are intertwined $$ signs. Therefore, the dermoterrorists™ MUST now acknowledge the benefits of cutaneously produced vitamin D BUT try to convince the public that the prescription analogs (that THEY will profit from) are "safer" (which isn't true). Talk about flip-flops! |
