my family owns a tanning salon and i manage the store. we have done very well with our speicals and tanning lotions.. i have brought in a exclusive line of nutrionial suppliements that have worked very well for the store. Selling supplements is more than a means to make extra money. This type of mentality scares me. You need to know what it does or doesn’t do, know the side effects, and the contraindications with other supplements and drugs. This is especially true in a salon or gym because of the personal interaction we have with our clients.

Adam, you mention the benefits, but do you know about the possible side effects and interactions?

I own a tanning salon and a fitness center and it works great for cross-over clients. Both are vanity related services and therefore compliment each other well.

We used to have 4 fitness centres with tanning, they have all dropped it.
