Rep Power: 24 | A lot of salons seem to feel offering you poor quality tanning beds that don't tan well,at a cheeper price, as a ploy to get you to pay upgrade fees for more expensive tanning session to really get a full tan, are using the old con called bate and switch!Ask a salon that pulls this on you why they have beds that don't do the whole job! What client would ever think they were going to pay for a session in a tanning salon that only does a half baked job of tanning at any price.Provide tanning beds that do the job. Don't buy anything less and then con your clients. They will catch on! |

Rep Power: 24 | We for one have 20 minute, 28 lamp beds w/facials as our base bed. I think this is pretty standard, at least in this area.We were the first to bring VHR Super Beds "upgrade beds" into the area and now there are others trying to "copy" by using the way we use the terminology. I have seen one place in particular that has a 32 lamp "Super Bed". It is nothing more than a standard low pressure bed, but they feel that since it has more lamps than our standard beds, they must be super beds. Our VHR beds have 46 lamps and 2 - 1000 watt facials, unlike any other in our area. So, my point being not only do some salons try to pass off the cheap beds as standards, but as super beds also. Do the research!------------------Take A Trip To The Coast...Palm Coast Tann mike@palmcoasttann.com |
