Rep Power: 0 | i'm not crazy about this new way of tanning. it seems gross. i have paltinum blonde hair and if it ever got in my hair i would be soo mad. i can understand that people who can't tan in the beds do to their skintype, would use a device like this, but it is soo expensive and it doesn't even last long. it sound to me like a rip off and just another alternative to a selftanner. i feel that people who cannot tan, should not tan at all. this is due to the melanin in their body. either is makes none, alittle or a lot. just my opinion. renee |

Rep Power: 24 | Sorry everyone I am extremely against self tanning products including mystic tan. I think it is an absolute sellout to our entire industry. I think self tanners make whoever uses them look orange all it is is a skin stain and once your skin exfoliates there goes your color.I do however give a round of applause to anyone who put that monstarosity mistic tan in their salon because it takes up a little bit too much room for me.But hey we all have to do what we have to do as far as making money. |

Rep Power: 24 | I have recently used the Mystic Unit, I am blonde and fair skinned. I had tanned in a tanning bed before I used the unit a few times. The color I got was better than any color I have ever received in a tanning bed. I am not knocking tanning at all, I love to tan. This was a quick fix. It was a very quick process. Good idea for clients that have a special event or wedding. I showed no signs of any of the solution coming off on my clothes either. It is not harmful to inhale or to your eyes, it is suggested that you close your eyes during the session and hold your breath. As far as you hair, you have a disposable shower cap to wear, although it will not stain or dye your haircolor. A part of the solution is based with Aloe Vera oil. Very moisturizing.I could feel a difference in my skin very soft and not dry at all. I believe that this will be a great option for clients that would want to tan and can't for medical reasons or for whatever reason. We have had alot of great response, and most that have tried it once say they will come back and do it again.Just my 2 cents! |
