Rep Power: 24 | I believe what you are looking for is located in the Lotion Forum under the Retail section. Most likely written by Greg. That is where I would check.Mike------------------Take A Trip To The Coast...Palm Coast Tann mike@palmcoasttann.com |

Rep Power: 24 | Why Tanning Products Work and How to Use Them To Get Your Best Tan!Why Should Tanners Use A Tanning Product?Better results from your tanning session when using a tanning product! Why Better Results? Tanning products help the tanning process by three key reasons: Moisturization, Magnification, and Skin Conditioning. Moisturization: Healthy skin is the foundation of your dark tanning success. Our tanning products are designed to provide critical remoisturization to skin before and after tanning. The healthier your skin, the less it sheds and the longer you have to tanthat same skin. Our premium products are designed to provide your skin with deep and constant moisture. Tanners not using a tanning product will not get the extra Moisturization thus getting less results from their tanning time because of dry skincaused by tanning. Magnification: Magnification is simply the multiplying of the ultraviolet light reaching your skin. Our premium tanning products provide arefractive and magnifying prism of aloe vera gel and natural oils to intensify the ultraviolet light reaching your skin intensifying your tanning time!. Tanners not using a tanning product will not get the extra magnification thus are getting lessresults from the same tanning time.Skin Conditioning: Premium tanning products are formulated to provide your skin with key tanning ingredients that may assist your tanningprocess. Our premium tanning products are designed and formulated to provide your skin with additional levels of these keytanning ingredients to assist and increase your natural tanning process. Tanners not using a tanning products do not get these additional skin conditioning ingredients to help their natural tanning processes.Must You Use a Tanning Product to get Tanning Results from a Tanning Bed?No, but the beneficial effects of Magnification, Moisturization and Skin Conditioning are easily understood by everyone. How Much Tanning Product Should I Use Before Tanning? Everyone is different, the larger your body the more you will use per session. The key is to get a good thick covering ofMoisturization, Magnification, and Skin Conditioning ingredients onto your skin before your tanning time, the more you usethe better moisturizer you skin will be. Some Tanning Lotions Are Thick and Do Not Rub In Quickly: What Should I Do? The more moisturization a lotion has, the thicker it will be. Do not worry, even if all the lotion is not rubbed in completely, within a few moments the heat of the bed will cause the lotion to liquefy, melting into your skin, providing additionalMoisturization, Magnification, and Skin Conditioning ingredients during your tanning time. When Should I Apply Tanning Lotion? Most tanners apply their lotion immediately before tanning for the best magnification properties. If you can not apply lotion immediately before tanning, then apply your lotion when you can for the Moisturizing and Skin Conditioning needed to improve your results from your tanning time.Using After Exposure Tanning Products to Get Better Tanning Results?Experts widely believe that your melanocytes are active tanning up to 48 hours after your last tanning session. After Exposure Tanning Products are designed to be used as often as possible but especially after your shower and before bed to help your skin recieve the maximum Moisturization and Skin Conditioning ingredients onto your skin within your 48 hour continuous tanning period. Rep Power: 0 | if you tan without lotion your skin acts like a mirror and reflects the uv instead of absorbing it, yes there are some that can tan without lotion but you will always have quicker, more lasting, and much better results with lotion period. |

Rep Power: 68 | Will a lotion really do that much more for my tan than if I didn't use something? Of course Ms Customer, (insert features and benefits from above posts)! But isn't $45 a little expensive for a bottle of tanning lotion? Oh, it's much more than just a tanning lotion! The products I sell are much better for your skin than most of the moisturizing products you find at the store! Well, still, it's $45. Look, you just spent x$s on your package. You're probably going to tan about twenty times. This lotion will only cost you about $2 per session to use, it will help you tan faster, and tan deeper, which equates to a longer lasting tan! That's worth at least a couple of dollars per session to you, isn't it? Well yeah, that's not too much. Great, I'd be glad to ring that up for you! By the way, I have these handy carry bags with a complimentary starter bottle of XYZ daily moisturizer from the same manufacturer for 15% off today! It's only $20 with the discount, and it will help you keep your tanning products organized and easy to carry! Let's get you one of those too, okay? - Maybe something along those lines. I don't push anything, I just help the customer get what they want and need, and they appreciate that. Hope this helps. Good luck. _________________ Help people get what they want and need, and you'll get what you want and need. [ This Message was edited by: mr belvedere on 2005-07-03 02:29 ] |
