WAS USING VHR IN A ROYAL SUN 44/6 THEY WERE WORKING PRETTY GOOD FOR EVERYONE.THEN I WANTED TO TRY THE HERAUS 20/160R SO I INSTALLED A SET IN THE SAME BED AND EVERYONE LOVES THEM EXCEPT FAIR SKINNED TANNERS AT MY SALON.THEY JUST COULD NOT TAN WITH THEM AT 12 MINUTES,SO I TRIED THE 16/160R IN A TANSES 44 NO FACIAL AND THE FAIR SKINNED ARE TANNING AGAIN,IS THE A PERCENTAGE THAT MUCH DIFFERENT.THE 16/160R ARE NEW LAMPS AND THE 20/160R HAVE ABOUT 150 HRS ON THEM.

Corvette:The 20/160R's are 3.4% UVB and the 16/160 R's are 2.8% UVB. The 16.160R's are very close to the VHR's that came in the 44/6 and so they would be a better choice, especially for the bench. The thing to remember with the Royal Sun 44/6 is that there are 160's in the bench and clients with fair skin (2A, 2B & 2C) cannot tolerate 12 minutes. That is why I have come to believe that 100 watt reflector lamps are enough in the bench.Hope this helps.Don

BUT DON I DONT SEE THE LOGIC IN WHY THE 16/160R TAN BETTER FOR FAIR SKINNED PEOPLE UNLESS THE LAMP HAS THAT MUCH MORE "A".DO YOU KNOW THE REAL %A FOR VHR AND HERAUS 16/160R .IT SEEMS IN OUR SALON ANY WAY THAT THE FAIR SKINNED PEOPLE DO REAL WELL WITH HIGHER "A"LAMPS BUT WHEN YOU ADD MORE "B" ITS LIKE THE LAMPS JUST DONT WORK FOR FAIR SKINNED BUT A NORMAL PERSON LOVES THEM,I AM PERPLEXED.PS COULD I GET YOUR PHONE NUMBER DON I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS FOR YOU.
