Rep Power: 24 | I have a couple of customers that have mentioned to me that they are getting tooo dark on their tummy and the arms and legs are not keeping up. What can I do to accelerate the tanning on the arms and legs (besides tingle) One customer cannot use tingle. Thanks for all the help------------------Tommy Lowery |

Rep Power: 0 | Tommy, There isn't alot you can do about the belly exept cover it. Everyones belly gets darker than the rest of their body. I would suggest that they use a good bronzer on the arms and legs. That helps to catch up. It seems to me that you exfoliate more skin on legs, especially women because most women shave daily. Hope this helps.------------------Lisa Holder |

Rep Power: 0 | Tommy,You may also find that some customers will begin to have a tough time tanning their face as well. Keep in mind and share with your customers that "most" cosmetics has an SPF in them. If they are interested in tanning their face a bit they need to remove their makeup prior to tanning.------------------Tracie WilliamsSandollar Corporation |

Rep Power: 24 | A man who owns salons in Germany explained to me that, the arms and legs do not tan as fast(or seem to tan as fast), because the are exposed to the sun more often. He tells me that because of this there is a slight protective layer built up. This is a naturalskin tanning process. Eventually the arms and legs catch up. If they are too impatient tell them to try-Browning Syrup, Black velvet, Dark Sexy Tan, Iced Creme,Amaretto, Espresso-all these products have a bronzer(for the impatient tanner). Just remind them to wash hands and buff wrist for blending after they tan. Some DHA results may show on hands if this is not done. :-) Quote:Originally posted by Sonshinetans:I have a couple of customers that have mentioned to me that they are getting tooo dark on their tummy and the arms and legs are not keeping up. Rep Power: 0 | Another possible answer (or three);1 - the bulbs put out most of their power in the middle where the belly is.2 - the belly is a REAL BELLY and hence is closer to the bulbs than the rest of the tanner.3 - a combination of both of the above. |

Rep Power: 24 | I agree with Ed. I believe the bulbs put out more in the middle in the end. I even did a little research to prove this. I metered some beds, here is what i found:Bed #1 in middle: 29.2 further to end: 23.1Bed #2 in middle: 29.3 further to end: 22.9You can see the differances are quite significant.Adam Cooper |

Rep Power: 24 | I had posted this previously, but don't know where it went, so ....here goes again! I was once told that if there are more fat cells in an area, that area will tan better, as is the case if there is more circulation in an area. Most people do tan faster on their torso and there is alot more fat cells and circulation there (remember, the heart is right there) Any truth to this????? |
