Lets see now...80% employee posters, all on 24 hour live connections, leave it on and you go ballistic.Humm. Or...YES!! That is it, Alabaman's READ as slow as they talk! Instead of a southern drawl, we have southern readerall. We Northerners usually plow through a ton of posts like Sherman marching through Georgia.I've heard it really does take longer to type when fingers are sore from pickin cotton...Running FAST for stage left.

ACTUALLY, We just make sure we have something intelligent to say before posting. As far as the cotton goes, I bet you Northerners enjoy wearing the soft cotton clothing, huh? Good thing the Southerners make that possible, and take the time to make sure the job is done right.[This message has been edited by Vanessa Greenlee (edited November 15, 2000).]

As you can see I have attached a picture of a Pennsylvainia road crew. It is hard to pronounce shcool, even with a southern drawl. YOU GUYS must spend too much time on TanToday, because you obviously don't realize that there are machines that pick cotton now. As far as technology is concerned, I can't make a blanket statement for the rest of the south, but as far as this little town in Alabama, there is more technology here than in the whole state of Pennsylvainia.

Well Mr. Rayztanning,Believe it or not, we don't all have 24 hourconnection. I am one of those southerner's that doesn't even own a computer. We at Sandollar log onto this board in hopes of learning something new to better do our jobs. The only thing I've learned from you is how to be a smart***.

Vanessa~I have to agree with you about having something intellegent to say and not just bickering. You may also notice if you go to that other board that a good portion of the posts are done by ONE person. This ONE person has even admitted to using many names to post under. Hmmm, seems a bit deceiving to me.As for the cotton, I love snuggling up with a nice warm cotton blanket in the winter!Mike

Hey ya'all....I love all the great thangs ya'all cotton pickers make possible! Gee, like them thar towels on my tannin' beds! Shame on ya'all fer tryin' to have an intelligent message board!Ya'all need to take yer young 'uns and go back to pickin'!Seriously though.....I really appreciate this board. Even though several of the comments are made by Michaels staff...they still have valid points and varying opinions, which to me is incredibly worthwhile. Keep up the wonderful work Mr. Chunn & crew! Or should I refer to you as Ya'all![This message has been edited by BOBER96 (edited November 15, 2000).]

Hey, Alabamanan technology is ledgendary. Why I'm a BIG fan of the electric pencil sharpener! It has made MY life wonderful. But Pennsylvania, and Pittsburgh itself has NO steel mills, surprise... and is the THE home of the worldwide Robotics Institute, tranplanted organs, and of the TanToday juggernaught. So, Mikes "Parody" of the Robot being "assimilated" [LOVED It, by the way] is a tribute to the high tech of my home city. And Fargo ND is also leading edge. They have the BEST long underware made of Southeren Cotton going, those winters are BRUTAL.

I don't want to offend anyone but Ray could use a good Alabama technology joke. How do you know toothpaste was invented in Alabama.............If it was invented anywhere else it would have been called teethpaste.
