I have been researching different avenues to open my own tanning salon and would like some feedback on whether I should consider buying into a franchise or not? Pros and/or Cons?

One of the most obvious reasons to choose a franchise is they have smoothed out problems that you will face without them!Over the years I have made many mistakes that cost me money. A good franchise should be worth more than what they cost you.Michael Chunn

I'm a franchisee, Mirage Tanning Center. Just the savings I get with pricing on lotions and supplies makes up for the royalties. Plus whenever I have a question or am considering anything new, I can ask them. If they have not tried the idea, often they will try it in thier corporate stores first so I do not have to be the guinia pig.Tanning isn't Brain surgery... it all depends on how many mistakes you are willing to make and how much each mistake costs you.
