| I guess what impressed me most was the quality of people that I associated with at the trade show. I learned so much and have such a deep appreciation for the people that I met and spent time with while there. I hung out with a bed manufacturer, lamp manufacturer, lotion manufacturer, magazine editor, salon owners, web gurus and their spouses and friends.I formed strong friendships and alliances that are mutually beneficial to all in the long run. It seemed to me that those of us that formed this circle of friends were the same people who weren't "cool" in school, but had managed to find some outstanding personal and professional success. We all were generally pleased with our lives and you didn't hear a lot of grumbling about personal life issues. Let me just say that if the people that I met are just a small sampling of the quality of individuals responsible for the majority of the tanning industry... then I am impressed and extremely hopeful! |
