Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Yow, 50?!?!?! Visited them on Westheimer while doing research, clean operation, did their legal homework well, but they have ETS beds. 50???? The next Darque Tan, perhaps? Groan...I have lots of customers unhappy with the "herding cattle" approach, maybe Planet Beach won't go there. |

Rep Power: 10 ![]() | I visited one recently...Nice decor...but they were afraid to tell me their prices. They had all the prices kept away in a notebook...they only had 8 beds and they were almost all different. I can't imagine if they had a full salon...I mean people can't wait all day for one bed! Seemed to have done some homework...but as far as the busy season i would be a little leary of tanning there! And a little costly for what you get. |

Rep Power: 9 ![]() | I also visited a Planet Beach. Nice decor. ETS beds with very low canopy. Seemed like a decent operation. The one on Westheimer in Houston chose a bad location. It is next to impossible to get in and out of their parking lot. Best wishes.Sunsource, I am not going to judge from just this location. Planet Beach has other locations in Dallas. They probably will turn out to be serious competition in the Houston market just by allowing use at multiple locations. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | The only one getting rich is the GENIUS who came up with the franchise at the right time. He is a distributor for everything he sells to his own franchisees. Beds, Lotions, Furniture, Decor, Counters, Carpet, Walls, and you name it. I know of 5-10 stores whom are barely paying bills after 2.5 years. But guess what? The Franchise gets theres right off the top. They also get theres at the beginning and everytinme you bring anything in. Smart MOFO! The above statement is only my opinion as a fictional or non fictional online or not online person or persona. Please do not let my opinion sway your analysis or purchase of a franchise licensing agreement. The above statements may be future looking. Past performance may not indicate future results. R |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() ![]() | DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT OPEN A FRANCHISE. That's all I have to say. We have done it, and are doing EVERYTHING we can to get out of the agreement. It was the biggest mistake of our lives. Cost us 5 times more than if we would have done it on our own. Many misrepresenations from the Frachisor (I won't say names) - and we just did it because we did not have experience in this industry, and wanted a support system. Hire a consultant, come here, and do it all yourself. It's really a simple business, you just have to be business savy ... and it sound like you are. |
