Electricity KVA is spiking during slow season??!!`
 

Any ideas why my KVA and KW usage would be going up during slow season? This summer hasn't been that hot for the AC to do this. I have made no changes in my equipment. I actually sold a SpaCapsule from nonusage. I am so confused and cannot afford to stay open like this. My electric bill got switched to industrial rate because they say my KW usage was up and they put a new meter in to read the KVA's. I am peaking on KVA even when only three small beds are running. How can this be? Any ideas would help.

I would call your provider and ask to speak to someone in the business dept. that knows
these spikes. It's called TOU here ( Time of Use ) it can be a total business killer if you have just one meter. Two meters can be a lifesaver if you know how to tweak them.
