Text Marketing ? Anyone using Text Marketing as a way to generate business, if so what's the best company to use? |
Re: Text Marketing ? If I was a customer and you started texting to sell, you'd never see me again. |
Re: Text Marketing ? Well I've done a survey and haven't had anyone say they wouldn't like to get text messages offering specials. I guess you'd be one of many. |

Re: Text Marketing ? Consumers today don't make any decisions without information provided by their hand held mobile device. Only the uninformed would believe that a well structured text marketing campaign would be a bad idea. Also remember that no matter what form of advertising you use it must be done properly to get a positive result. If you make a mistake correct it or make adjustments to improve the result. |
Re: Text Marketing ? Yes! I have for 3 years now. I use a company called Homepages my reps name is Amanda she has several other tanning salons as well. Her number is 216-965-7047. I am 32 years old and love text offers (maybe its a female thing) and it is an option for a customer not automatic, they sign themselves up if they are interested. We pay $995 for a year ($83 a month) and it is straight forward for their classic program which is just for your list of customers. They have a website where you put in your text offers as you control it. They have another premium plan for $1795 year ($150 a month) that is very interactive and you can create multiple lists for your customers to choose what type of text offers they receive like uv tanning vs. spray tanning for an example. I love it and it is very effective. I use it for 1 day offers when things are slow. So if I want to run a 4 hour deal I can do that. I will say last, but not least it does take effort to build your list. You can give an incentive when you ask customers to join..like a free packet of lotion, or a free tan or upgrade or anything you want. PM if I can help with anymore questions! Erica |
Re: Text Marketing ? Thanks for all the input. I'll give them a call Esglow. I'm trying a paid targeted Facebook ad. Anyone have much luck with that? |
Re: Text Marketing ? I had someone stop in asking me if I was interested in their text marketing. I wasn't ready to make a decision and wanted to sit on it for a little bit so he gave me the numbers to text from other salons so I could see what they were doing. Suggest you ask them for the number to text on a few and see what you think when you start receiving their texts. |
