Kooky are you an ASA member? If not, why would you initially be excited the ASA was backing this lawsuit and then expect them to have money to pay for it if you're not contributing financially in anyway?

Because Rick founded the ASA and he has the money and clout to make things happen.

It is being put to good use.

In all seriousness, the ASA is very good at keeping their dues paying members "in the loop". They provide weekly updates on their activities in a number of areas and even more frequent updates when something is happening.

Kookyguy,

Rick may have deep pockets but his organizational ability is way more important than his money. He's not a charity, I certainly wouldn't expect to ride on the coattails of any one person in this industry.

IMHO, Every single person on this site has a dog in this fight. I don't even want to think about this lawsuit being lost.

If that happens, just know that it could be years and years of more sunscare effecting YOUR business and some may not survive it.

The common complaint on here is that the organizations are not being aggressive enough. Here it is, and it's still alot of excuses with the stingy wallets. -If- this lawsuit is won, this opens every door, including OUR prosun advertising. THIS could be the beginning of the end of Sunscare.

It's time for US to get the camel's nose under the tent! Everyone of us should be busting our humps getting donations to these doing the heavy lifting on this lawsuit...

It could go on for months with no news. I'm sure there are questions going back & forth.
The ASA will send an update when one is available.

Lawsuits like this often take months, if not years, to resolve. Depends on how willing the defendants are to settle out of court.
