Rep Power: 0 | Thinking of adding a weekend only EFT Hello everyone Thinking of adding a weekend only EFT. The customers are asking for it, cant decide if it should be a basic fee for tanning or the grand scheme of EFT gets all the discounts and privileges What do you offer if you wish to share? Steve Underhill, your thoughts? Thanks! Dave |

Rep Power: 19 | Re: Thinking of adding a weekend only EFT I seen salons offer a "Weekender" membership. Like $9.95 per month. But heck, the big chains now are offering $9.95 EFT, 7 days a week, but with 12 month commitment. I'd offer a week day surcharge to allow them to tan during week as well. Like $1 or $2 per tan. |

Rep Power: 25 | Re: Thinking of adding a weekend only EFT It depends on what you are trying to achieve with it. EFT is already so low priced in most pricing structures that taking it even lower for the small percentage that will restrict themselves to just weekends just to pay less is more likely to result in loss of income. However, if you have big capacity issues during the week (LONG waits for big stretches of the day) - it COULD be a way to try to offload some of the traffic to slower days. I don't see it INCREASE traffic or revenues typically. A better pricing plan to increase traffic/revenue on weekends is to offer Super Singles -- 50% off SINGLE, WALK-IN pricing. This will attract different customers including: a. Customers from competitors closed on weekends b. Customers in town visiting (in some markets like college salons) c. Customers who don't consider themselves "tanners" and won't buy a package or membership - but will do "drop in" at 50% off consistently! ;-) Every salon I have instituted Super Single Weekends in has seen significant increase in both traffic and revenue on weekends - typically moving into the most revenue "consistent" lead. |
