What is the going price for a used VersaSpa

I just put up a new VersaPro for a salon and they have a used VersaSpa for sale. It is a 2009, very clean, no scrapes, everything works, has voice and heat. About 6000 total sessions between bronze and clear. Unit is very nice. The salon is wanting to know what the going price is for a used unit like this and I have sort of lost track. Anybody know? I would like to tell them an accurate number.

I don't have an answer to your question but this gets me thinking about something else maybe you can answer. I have a 2009 Mystic HD. What would be the advantage of replacing it with a new VersaPro?

I've seen them from $7k to $9k for that age. Depending on conditions and features.

On the low end I've seen them for as little as 4k, on the high end 12k. I'd steer clear of the lower priced ones unless local where you can see it in action as they can be a headache if you aren't familiar with them. Probably worth buying a unit from a reputable seller like robert, sunsally, etc and not letting someone else's headache become yours

Edit: just saw that you are selling for a client. If it sprays well and is cosmetically decent I'd start for like 7995

Re: What is the going price for a used VersaSpa

Wynwood, to answer your question I would suggest you go and tan in a Pro and see what you think of it unless you already have. They are different spray experiences, somewhat due to one being a closed room and one being partially open.

The Pro gives you the ability to spray faces and legs, either by themselves or in connection with other parts of the body. Some find this to be a great add on sale and some don't see the value. Up to you really on how you approach it in your salon.

Solution cost is probably a little lower on the Pro. Heater is "better" on the HD since it is a closed room. Personally I would keep the HD and add the Pro. The Pro was meant to be a second level and work in connection with the HD or Spa and it does that very well.

It is not like you are replacing a Blue Box with the Pro, that step is an easy one to make. The HD is a fine spray machine and does a very nice job so the difference is not as glaring.

Re: What is the going price for a used VersaSpa

I have one in my garage that I am selling for a customer. Nice machine, I have been through it and checked it out. Normal wear and tear for a used spray booth. She is asking $5K plus install and delivery. I could probably find you another one in a month or so for the same price.
