Is anybody doing texting as a part of their marketing campaigns? Is so, what service are you using and are you seeing a benefit? What are the costs involved?

i'm also interested in knowing this. I'm going to start by texting a little holiday message with nothing too sales pitchy in it. I want to test the waters for my first message and see if anyone gets upset

I use a company called EZ Texting. We have a "text club" and send a notice when we have a 1 or 2 day only sale etc. Customers might not see a Facebook post or Email but rarely does anyone miss a text message. It has worked really well for us.

I'm in the process of getting an app created for my salon. Through it you can do push notification (not much different than text marketing), plus other features. I'm working with Total Loyalty Solutions.
