I just went back to read many of your previous post. I see all year long you have complained about business being down. I appears to me that you of all people need help with the structure and operation of your salons. You would think being the veteran that you are that you would know if you knew what you where doing your numbers would be up. This has been a very good year for salons that are structured for todays market. I would never solicit you but it is clear that you need help with your salon. I am sure that there are others on this site that could help you. Maybe give Ann a call I know she could give you some advice that will get your numbers up. I think you may still be operating your salon the way you did 20 years ago. That is why you are having a bad tanning season. It also explains why you are so angry. Just remember if you make the right changes you can be successful again.

I personally don't know him, but can say, he has been on these boards as long as I..over 15 years...dating back to the original TanToday and TanFormation days...

I am on other forums within other industries I have an interest in and keep my profile info secret on all, including this one....it is not indicative of anything, other than you wish to keep what you say away from the eyes of your competition, and those out to steal personal info.....remaining stealth on any PUBLIC forum is a good idea...unless you have something to sell (??)

NO...so why include name, location, #of units, sales info and any and all info, that frankly, is not anybodys biz but your own?

Besides, Tanu01 has under 3,800 post. That is double what you and I have total....seems he has more invested in this than you and I.

I personally feel anyone that visits this site is invested. Some people visit hoping to learn, some visit hoping to share and others visit because on a forum you can be who ever you want to be. I visit here being who I am. It is funny that many of my clients tell me I am the Gordon Ramsey of the tanning industry. Very direct, unapologetic and hard to take at times but in the end the tanning salon owners best friend. In looking at it I must agree that I run into the same challenges as Gordon. Trying to get through to stubborn stuck in their ways business owners that have a difficult time excepting that they are the biggest problem in their business. Challenging yes, but I enjoy every minute of it especially when in the end people always come around simply because they truly want to succeed. I have very thick skin and realize that you can't take things personally.

I am the first to admit I am always learning because I am open to anything that adds to my knowledge pool. I know that you sometimes must fail in order to learn how to succeed, but you must always recognize when what you are doing or believe is not working.

Wow..seems like you are taking this whole thread as a personal insult...be who you are.

I feel you are trying to explain who you are...why the need?

If you feel it is in your best interest to be 'open' on a public forum, feel free to spread out your whole story...but don't go investigating those who do not share you sentiment.

I for one, like others before me, and more after no doubt, prefer to keep some things personal..

I don't need to know your 'story'..and you should have no need to know mine (or any other member who post)
