Such a unique design and I applaud his design. My salon makes so much noise....beds....fans....even the ac...makes it difficult to even hear at times...and oh, the music! |

Hollywood tan had the same basic model; very nice stores, high tech, custom made standup units, but did not make it in a nationwide way. It is one thing to find a couple of niche areas, but gaining acceptance nationwide, is quite another. Only time will tell whether the public will accept the model nationwide. |

Rep Power: 18 | Re: Rooms Dogfan You sure are blind! Is that calling you a bad name? Trying to use less combative adjectives but this is as nice an adjective I can use without being inaccurate. The only thing we have in common with Hollywood Tan is that we only use stand ups. Other then that we have ZERO in common. Hollywood did not fail because they only had stand ups. Would you say a traditional salon with all beds failed because they didnt have any standups? Of course not! You just dont get the strategy of our model. It is very unique and very disruptive. Perhaps one day you will understand our model. |

All I said was that your basic business model was not new; I stand behind that; eft's are not new, I stand behind that, tech gadgets like ipads are not new, websites are not new, standups are not new , cheap prices are not new........

This thread is about what amenities to put in the rooms. Period. Stay on topic. If you wish to start a thread about different tanning business models, then do that.

I am thinking of maybe putting mirrors in the rooms, and giving customers more than 3 minutes prep-time before bed starts. I just don't need to speed up my turn-a-round of sessions like I used to 10 years ago. I never have to use my waiting list anymore, and Maybe these small changes will enhance my customer's pleasure. |
