^^^^^^The last 2 months, exactly my situation here. I'm down 80% so far this August, under last. I used to have hope for September, and having the kids back, but my thoughts now, "just another down month". I could have sold the salon under contract, but chose not too, so I'll just tough it out until next June.

Its Fall........... Local schools all started 2 weeks early, Collage back early, and there has been a few white caps on the pond.

If were ever going to see an upturn in this biz it should be this year.

Next summer, being 98% of our business is college clients, we are thinking about closing the salon down June thru August.

Averaging less than $25 per day, and paying out $75 a day. what does this tell you? A new occupation is forthcoming--retirement. If I can last til next summer, just fine; if not, I'll shut her done in a heartbeat.

Wow to that!!!

I'd be forced to shut the doors! Dumpster everything and rent out my space to something else.
