iTease lotion is paraben free it has coconut milk and coconut oil in it. It also has pink jojoba beads in it that break and spread easily on your skin to give instant color and moisture. Most of my previous dha only tanners now love it and say it gets them so dark. It is also designed to use with a UV tan before a spray tan and works perfect.

Interlectric has LCS technology that significantly reduces the black ends on lamps.

I'm thinking you feel, we need a change...for the better...to help win the fight?

I don't like how HP and filter glass has swayed away from non reddening effect. Such an easy sell, tanning in a UV emitting tanning device, that virtually eliminates the risk of reddening sunburn.

The newer style HP lamps have come down in price, but the reddening effect has gone up. Wrong direction I think.

We can only assume, lotions are getting better, higher quality ingredients, more concentrated to combat the negative effects of UV tanning. Drying and pre-mature aging. Pay for what you get?

YUP!

A TAN TAX..

Salon closures increase across the land...

Major acquisition among distributors, manufacturers, and major franchise/chains, downsizing across the board

Hey Engfant, hope all is good in the non-tanning world!

Any new lamps or equipment will now come w/warning labels since FDA changed our classification.

And... I guess the PURA would be considered new to you. Otherwise SOS 5 years later, lol.

That may be new for them, but cathode covers have been used for the past 15+ years by most tanning lamp manufacturers. Many years back they would use a flag, which evolved to the racetrack around the cathode & then even the Cup Cathode design which was used by LSI 10 years ago, then Voltarc had the Top Hat design. The CCT & Top Hat fully enclosed the cathode which gave no black ends at all.

The CCT & Top Hat are not used much anymore due to the popularity of Electronic Starters which give a much softer start & help limit lamp end blackening.
