Rep Power: 12 | Re: Small Salon Owner Needs Advice I just took your advice and set up a contest on my FB page, and sent out an email via Constant Contact, and my phone is chiming like crazy. I can't wait to see how it turns out. I will be sure to post the results. |

Rep Power: 11 | Re: Small Salon Owner Needs Advice It should I would expect to see a few new customers in the salon after an increase like that! Add new things to the salon and post the heck out of it! for example one simple trick I learned was to pull a regular or level 1 bed out of the salon that is either in need of new lamps or in need of some maintenance and replace it with a modern looking level 1 or even a tan america VIP Gold which you can pick up for less than $1k all day. That gets them in to try the new bed then you can sell the **** out of upgrades from there. To get your investment back you can always sell the bed you pull out of the salon. I am a small salon in a very small town as well and my top of the line equipment is includes an ultrasun powerhouse 6000 and a UWE sunboard plus. By having this equipment that is not "Brand new" my customers see it as cutting edge once in a lifetime to use equipment. I can get it cheap make my money back in 1 month then turn around take the profit and downgrade it to a lower level package and get better top level equipment. The changes if being made consistently will keep people coming in throughout the season just to see whats new. The best way for them to know there's new equipment is to check your facebook! |
