Rep Power: 0 | Ceilings on rooms? Building out a new location, and was suggested to put ceilings on the high end rooms and call them suites or somthing special like that. Walls are a couple of inches off the ground and would ventilate properly out of the room. Any one ever see or hear of this? Thanks... |

Rep Power: 14 | Re: Ceilings on rooms? keep ceiling open..spray paint ceiling black if possible. Gives a nice clean contemporary look. Even better with sleek Mod-walls. Plus your beds would love it (won't overheat, space stays cooler) Yes, one inch max open on floor (like mod walls)...more than that not necessary, especially with open ceiling |

With the open layout of that bed and the fact I am higher end, we wanted to make a suite. It can be done very easily and will create a unique room that clients will love. Air in, Air out; it does not matter how, as long as you can provide the proper CFM

I had to cut 24"x24" vents in the door to cool it. It was constantly overheating and breaking filter glass. It is not a recommendation by me to have enclosed ceiling unless it is a very large room with the bed vented to the ceiling | |

Rep Power: 21 | Re: Ceilings on rooms? We pushed more AC into the room with additional vents and ran the exhaust (w/ bypass) from the unit into the HVAC. We could not run ours outside due to pressurization issues of a smaller salon and a high efficiency HVAC (not enough new fresh air to equalize the salon's air pressure). It worked great, room would only increase about 2-3 degrees if running non-stop. IMO, all HP's must be vented out of the room.
