Rep Power: 20 | Re: Tmax and Tan Today House of Tan, I never tried to convince anyone to do anything. And why should what anyone else does in their salon PO anyone on these sites? He acts as though he is the Tanning industry God and it is his duty to correct and punish anyone that crosses him. Disagreeing with someone is one thing, but Brian tries to intimidate and twist everything you say on Tan today. Then he starts a fight with you using his 3-4 lap dog buddies to pummel you into submission. He attacks you personally as well as professionally. If you think that that's OK, then you put yourself in their with his minions. Free speech may not be required by Tan today, but it is an idea that has survived for 250 years here and it will certainly survive way past Brian Oshman and Tan Today. |

Rep Power: 22 | Re: Tmax and Tan Today I totally agree that Tan Today is a hostile site and it is intimidating to post there, for fear you're going get torn a new butthole. Brian was a mod here, and I found him to be very helpful, and just somewhat outspoken. He chose to leave here, and is not banned. I always got along with him, and would not hesitate to contact him if I had a hardware, electrical, or timer question. Last edited by parrot head; 01-13-2014 at 03:25 PM. Reason: add |

Rep Power: 20 | Re: Tmax and Tan Today It would bother anyone. People come to these sites to share information about what is working (or not working) for them in this industry. What good are these sites if you are afraid to say something that someone else disagrees with? That destroys the very thing you are trying to promote. All you have then is a bunch of yes men (and women). You end up with a "one way" of looking at everything. On that site, I was openly criticized for everything from liking Tan America equipment, to using paper towels to clean my beds. I was called names just about everytime I posted something. That doesn't happen at Tantalk. I feel that I can openly share what has worked for me without anyone dragging me into an argument, then using that as an excuse for banning me from the site. |

AMEN!!!! Very well said! finally someone else out here that wants more for there business and this industry!!! You mentioned COM1 port. I forgot to mention that archaic fact. Nothing uses a COM1 Port today! I just got back from the NRF show. It was ALL TABLETS! This is the show for the big boys. Walmart, Kohls, Kroger etc. Its all going bluetooth this and bluetooth that. It was all tablets! FYI we control our beds via wifi now with our new system.

I agree the industry did it to themselves. You and I are polar opposites. you have as little investment in your technology as possible. I spend 6 figures every year to create mine! My ROI I would bet is better :) I also agree with you that Brian Oshman is way people are over here more then over there. He is why I left and why I am here :)

Rep Power: 25 | Re: Tmax and Tan Today This has the potential to be an interesting thread. Let's stay AWAY from who is or isn't allowed on other sites and why etc. ON topic -- Tony is interested in sharing a system that he has developed for use in his OWN salons - correct? |
