Great advice from House Of Tans! The only things I see a bit differently are concerning the pads. The NEWER pads are virtually "failure free"! There were problems in past years but have been addressed & the dependability is amazing! Also, I found that January was an AMAZING month for Formostar wraps as w/New years resolutions & the desire to lose weight it's a month you don't want to miss. The new customers you will bring in will often wind up using many of your other services. Otherwise, HOT gives some AMAZING suggestions!!!!!

Is Formorstar offering any special pricing in Vegas this June?
I'm going there to look for new items to add to my salon and am ready to choose between Fit and Formorstar.

While adding additional services is OK, it is important to make sure you are maximizing the income potential of the services you already offer. Are your UV sales where they should be. If you do well with airbrush tanning you should consider a spray booth before a formastar.

Formostar is a really easy system to set up and use. Repeat customers can pretty much set themselves up. Pretty soon, if you are in Tanning, it will all be Spray Tanning .

Looking at the salons prior owners past numbers, I am beating their revenue, new clients in the door and foot traffic every month for the last 3.5 years. I have only been in the red twice my first year, July and August.

That's why I was wondering about the body wraps, to diversify (July/August support). Formorstar is a big investment that I don't want to make unless some success in the industry has been seen. By your notes, I think I might go a head and move on it. ...after tax time. :)
