Rep Power: 0 | TO OLD FOR THE BUSINESS what are your thoughts can a salon owner be to old and grumpy and think they know it all and not able to change I am negotiating with a 70 year older man who thinks he knows it all and feels what he paid for his ergo line equipment should dictate what the value of the store is...How do you handle a 70 year old know it all...who should retire any way 70 years old hanging out in the tanning salon seems creepy...im just saying |

He probably has more experience and knowledge about this industry then you ever will. If you continue with that way of thinking, I hope you never open a business, it's people that have closed minds and that are ignorant that give good people in the "beauty" industry a bad rap. |

As far as being in the salon, I'm willing to bet you that his clients liked him and he liked them and they appreciated his sage advice. Instead of shooting from the hip with this rant, I think you should take a deep breath and try to think of him as a human being. | |

So I stand corrected and apologize. I agree with Black sun, there are better businesses to get into right now.

Rep Power: 0 | Re: TO OLD FOR THE BUISNESS Is this HIS business or yours or co owned? Because if its the 70 year old's salon.....why do you care? If your the salons client, go elsewhere to tan. Something must be working for him, the salon is still open. And if its going down the crapper...well that's his problem....and more clients for US!!! ;) |
