Rep Power: 0 | Re: About the tanning bed ban in Australia The reason pot is being legalized in the US is that there is someone being arrested every 36 seconds who smokes pot. The real issue that is wrong with pot is not that it is so much a health hazard, but that the people who use it are difficult to control. The government does not want pot, but they have become pragmatic about the use. The real danger surrounding pot is that good pot is like acid. It will immediately put you in a dreamlike state. Now tell me, how are you going to consistently drive on that? Then there is the issue of kids smoking pot. I currently believe that the issue of banning tanning revolves around the expense of the side effects of tanning that the government believe that are there. A basel cell skin cancer operation that takes 2 minutes cost the government $2000 I am guessing. As for the pot they will be making money! |
