2 empty rooms

I have been lurching on here for years now, I can't explain the valuable information I have gained from reading all of your post. I am new to the industry, but have a great salon, in a great area, with above avg equipment IMO. We have been open 20 months and a making good money with only beds and lotion sales. 8 beds

(4) sundash 232
Ambition 300
Epic 242
Ergoline classic 650
SolarForce 652V

I have 2 open rooms to add a spray machine, body wrap, or more beds...........thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

Re: 2 empty rooms

Forget the body wrap..total waste.

If you have the room size/AC/Electric, or can pay for it if needed, get some stage of HP..either a full HP bed, a hybrid, or HP standup..add spray tan

Re: 2 empty rooms

Because the wraps dont work, or because I cant sell the service?

Seeing between 150 and 200 clients a day.

Also, thinking about adding supplements.

Thanks!

Re: 2 empty rooms

How do your visits break down currently? For example - what % in the 650, what percentage in the 652V,.... Look across an entire year if you can. Where are you most likely to have a wait? Least likely?

What size are the rooms?

How much electric do you have available? HVAC?

Definitely think a spray tan is a good choice. Beyond that, probably full HP or a good VHR. Depends on budget and what they are using now.

Re: 2 empty rooms

I will run a report with SunLync tomorrow.

One room is 12x5 (was our spray tan room in the org buildout) and the other I haven't built yet, I also own a construction company so it's not a big deal. Just added an additional AC along with insulating the ceiling and venting the 650 through the roof.

Thanks!

Re: 2 empty rooms

Spray Tan providing you can put in a good filtration system and have a reliable spray tech. Thermal body wraps we've done but I do know how to package and sell them. They do extremely well for us for 2 years and haven't lost their popularity.
