Robert I can only speak to what i know. As is stated ISO is in no way out of business. I do business with ISO and have never run into a problem. Equipment, parts and service delivered in an exemplary manner. I am involved closely enough to know if they were involved with anything more than restructuring. Robert I respect you and what you have to say and I am sure you will report any error in your statement.

Re: Iso Italia

I am hearing from a couple directions that nobody can get anybody at this company??? Can someone email or post or whatever someplace for me to send folks that need support?

I myself have not tried as I don't know whom to call I have never dealt with them so I don't want to bring up this threads content so much as it came up when I googled this company.

Re: Iso Italia

Hi There! If you have Matrix customers who need tech service, parts, or lamps you can have them call us at the North American Headquarters conveniently located in Cleveland, OH. The number is 1.888.ISO-ITAL or 216.831.4100. :)

Instead of slinging objective mud about ISO’s restructuring in Italy, maybe you could find the time to reflect and explain to everybody on the forum your own inability to pay a $617.34 invoice for parts you ordered so you could make money on the resale of one of our "crappy" Matrix booths.
i bet lisa wishes all her customers were like us.... ;)

Re: Iso Italia

Yes, company after company in the indoor tanning business going bankrupt is NOT a good thing. No good way to spin this. Companies that are doing well don't do that. Indicates shrinking a market and poor business climate. (not to mention a crummy 2013 season)

Steve, companies who do this don't run it up the flagpole for everyone to know. Thomco was doing well until yesterday.....so as much as you would like to believe you are in the know, well.....some of us are in the business of making people believe that this is still a viable industry.

Re: Iso Italia

Surely doesn't look good for us, anyway you cut it. With all this cost cutting and reorgonizing in our industry, my projection of being viable for 5 more years, nows seems farfetched. If you can't see the handwriting on the wall, you have blinders on.

Re: Iso Italia

I think it's important to note that the Thomco situation has less to do with the tanning industry and more to do with them being acquired by Markel last year. It's my understanding that Markel has always insisted on a claims made policy for all professional liability insurance.

Tanning was just a small part of the Thomco book and my guess is that they knew a claims made policy would not be competitive with policies like what we offer, so they decided to leave the market.

The less fancy way to say it is; there ain't enough money in indoor tanning to make it worth the trouble, so they got out.
