Rep Power: 0 | Slow Season - When does it end?!? Hello - I recently purchased a tanning salon in Northern Indiana. I keep hearing this is the slow season. Then with my luck, it dropped to 0 degrees and has been really cold every day since. Today, it snowed 8 inches. Business seems slow, and Im just wondering if that might be the reason? I was also wondering if any has any suggestions on any marketing programs, rewards programs that have done well for you in the past? Any assistance would be appreciated! Thanks! |

We took it over last week. and it has been kinda slow...I know they hadn't advertised. but we are. You guys know what methods of advertising work best? Have you ever tried direct sales..sending reps to local business to give out promo certificates? We are also doing 2 print advertising things....and flyers, and banners. etc. Thanks! |

After your in the biz for awhile, You'll learn you can actually start your season in Nov. with proper training (learning) Nov starts all the Holiday parties and gift certificate buying. Run the right specials and you can keep them right thru Jan. Then you have V-Day , That should be the begining of the heavy season. |

We do "Free tanning days" during the week this week and this weekend will be $5 spray tan . Then when they are tanning for free push a sale on a month package and EFTs , that way you will lock them in till the start of busy season and then they will stick with you for it. ( as long as those bulbs have been changed.) |
