Rep Power: 22 | Re: HOW WAS 2012? Personally I am torn on what to do for 2013. I want to open another store and up the number of spray tan units I operate in this market. However with all the uncertainty of taxes, economic outlook and consumer confidence; I am starting to think I should just continue to refine and hold off on expansion until 2014. I should feel confident either way by the end of the 1st Q, but as well all know that is too late to start (or at least, not the best time) opening a new store. I may just enter into another industry and introduce EFTs, amazingly enough some service industries have yet to evolve to re-occurring/automated payment plans.

Rep Power: 13 | Re: HOW WAS 2012? I think in fairly short order the friction against efts will be even more of a problem. People just hit a wall with everything and then strategy needs to evolve. As far as opening its very tough in this environment to feel totally good about expansion. And that is a bummer because i would love to but just see so many negatives. |
