Hi all,

If you don't already know this, I figured I would get the word out to all industry professionals....

I was busy doing other things, but just caught the end of a new national commercial being aired currently. I may not have it exactly right because I wasn't really paying attention and then it was gone. I looked for it on line and didn't find it, but here's the basic premise:

Some female athlete (maybe skiier?) was explaining why she puts on sunscreen everyday and that everybody should be wearing ORANGE, (like everyone wears pink for breast cancer awareness), except this is for skin cancer awareness.

What I did find on-line was that the derms are designating May 6, 2013, as MELANOMA MONDAY and everybody should be wearing orange accordingly to support it. It is called Sun Spot Orange and oddly enough they sell sun screen products by that name Yes, that was sarcastic.

Anyway, time to batten down the hatches for this next attack and I'm sure hoping ITA hurries with their "offensive campaigns".

Same group has a commercial on Oxygen Channel showing baby girls growing up to teenage girls dying from Melanoma and then it says Stop Tanning.

It's sure not looking good. Between the wear orange, the orange sun umbrellas, the little sun spot orange stickers they will start pushing and their sun spot orange sunscreen lines....we are really going to be seen as "the bad guys".
