In all seriousness, what is stopping people from opening up lotion/beauty/cosmetics stores and giving free tans with purchase?? It would be the same principle as gyms with free tanning, am I right? I'm not going to do either of those, but why wouldn't someone choose to do that?

Re: ACCEPT THE TAN TAX, IT'S HERE TO STAY

Thank you for your kind, well thought out, respectful response. Instead of "idiot" a real response would be that physical fitness facilities are exempt, so obviously my outlandish ideas would not work. But then again if I changed my whole concept into a club that had workout equipment, health and wellness classes, vitamin and supplement sales, and personal training and tanning as a bundle, I could possibly avoid the tax. So, being silly, yes, but its really sweet to call people idiots. I've taken a struggling salon and turned it into quite a profit, in the midst of JASON. I work my butt off everyday researching new products and promotions and services. Parrothead, you barely made it through the last few months. So although my ideas are silly and far fetched, at least I am constantly thinking of my business and evolving it. Some of the greatest ideas come from the dumbest flash of thought. There are loopholes on most taxes, especially new ones, so Beachbody was proposing a valid point. Oshman, you on the other hand just lost 2 potential customers.

Not to mention how many salon do you operate Oshman??? um, yeah, that'd be ZERO. You do work FOR me and other salon owners. Suck it... **Patiently waiting my ban notice because Brian is the big bad moderator and can call people dicks and other names, but if you call him out, he bans you in a grand gesture of how awesome he is because he hides behind a keyboard dishing it but can't take it**

There are NO loopholes in the taxes you as a business owner have to collect!

Collect the tax, pay the tax or enjoy paying all the crazy penalties the IRS will hit you with.

Really, cause he has twice when I was a "lowly trunk slammer" and told him to get bit and stay off the sunless boards if he only comes on to make fun of people with spray tanning businesses. Search the threads, took me five minutes to find posts about him banning people, after calling them d.icks.

Re: ACCEPT THE TAN TAX, IT'S HERE TO STAY

Why is that?? Many of them are working their asses off. They come on the sunless boards to ask legit questions only to be berated. My truck slamming days got me enough capitol to buy my business.
