Rep Power: 0 | Ad on Yelp? Does anyone have an ad on Yelp. We have a special offer next to our salon for yelp users and I get more of those than any other ads. Currently I am in 2 local mailers and the Yelp deal gets the best result. So, I am considering doing a full ad with them. For the bargain price of $300+ a month I get a video on my Yelp site, no other competitors popping up before my salon, but I do get to pop up on other salons that are not advertising on Yelp. They want a year contract and I'm not willing to go that long. Ill pay a little more for the ability to try it out for three months. I am looking for other's experiences - the good, bad and ugly. i need to make a decision on this soon. I have my first Facebook ad running now. I think this is something that will have to grow before I can make any judgements on it's effectiveness. Anyone doing Facebook ads? If so what are your thoughts on it? Don't you feel like everyone is calling for you to advertise with them. I must get 4 calls a day. Like I've got nothing better to do... |

Rep Power: 13 | Re: Ad on Yelp? I cant imagine that it would drive that many more people to your yelp. I already get about 200 clicks and 175 click throughs a month with no advertising and come up in the top 3. I would rather spend money on adwords on google. people go to yelp to read reviews...so they will click on the top 5 places and read the reviews and decide from there. |
