I think the Olympics have been killing us for the last week. I can see where an Olympics promo could work but I was caught flat footed last week when they started. Right before the Olympics, we had a few Baseball games that cut our traffic down quite a bit too.

We started a new Facebook promo today that is rocking though.

Like I said, I really did $6 yesterday. I had more zero dollar days last month then I can count on one hand. I'm embarrassed to tell my numbers for July, but I will tell you the Tan Tax for July is $210.

were are starting august out with back to school specials and we seen 20 ppl and did 126 yesterday not a bad start,, hoping august is great

Bring in any sporting event ticket stub and get a discount. If there is something that distracting tanners, use it to create a great value promotion.

There is no reason to ever have a zero day. Send a text, tan on any system for $, today only. Group your spray tanners, and text them a today only great deal. Never ever sit on a $0 day. This is the time of year to be aggressive with your marketing.

Just bested our yesterday sales. Sold 5 sessions of our special, and bettered yesterday by $9. The only thing is, this customer was a regular, that was in to buy a bigger package. O'well, ya lose some, ya win some. You just have to keep smiling.

i just bought a sidewalk sign and put our back to school special on it to see if that helps bring in new people

seems like when people don't want to tan you can't even give it away so why try? I see lots of people in my area really discounting it for long terms, which means you won't make any money later either.
Sick of people selling unlimited for so cheap and then hoping they won't use it so they can make money off it. This industry is so flippinn backwards.

One does strange things when they're desparate. You're right on, when you say if people don't want to tan, you can't give it away.
