Rep Power: 0 | It's the little things that make like hard Okay, so we talk about about so much on this site - and really urgent stuff too - so I feel kinda silly asking about washer and dryer units. We bought a salon with a newer washer dryer combo unit. We had to have it fixed several times now. The capacity if low and since the dryer has to vent out over 27 feet, to clogs and the dryer does not work. It's a nightmare. Staff take towels home, I have to make the 1 hour round trip in traffic to get towels to wash and dry at home at night, or we spend hours at the local laundromat spending money. So, now we are told that due to some recent lawsuit, the cannot sell home units to commercial operations - and the commercial units are much more expensive than home use ones. But, may have to resort to this option. Question - what does everyone else do for laundry? Does anyone have a commercial unit - we have limited space. Does anyone have the new units that wash and dry all at once? That's a consideration because no lint vents are needed. I need help, advice and answers quickly because we've spent a fortune on repairs and looking to spend another fortune on a new unit. Thanks |

We're in a center with 6 other units and a gas station behind us. I have a call into my insurance agent to discuss this tomorrow. We have a friend in the appliance business (residential only) and he won't even sell us a machine. Wish there was a better answer |

You should be able to find a service that charges in the neighborhoof of $1 per pound. This will include washing, drying, folding, detergent, etc... It may seem like alot, but it really is not when ou consider time, hassle, elect., gas, detergent, etc.. You may even find someone who would pick up and deliver. |

The dryer vent was fixed with a permanent interior screen that we clean out daily. Working great now. The washing in a river idea is appealing, however the off site, raging river situation raises my work comp insurance. But thank you for the laugh. |
