I am curious to what you all think about selling items in the salon other than lotions and such. How about purses, handbags, flip flops, etc, whs sell in your salons that help you with your bottom line. To give you an idea this salon would offer tanning, teeth whitening, kontur, well system relax, nails and such.

I've been expanding my services and retail for the past 2 years and sales are also increasing to go with it. I'm adding another new service soon.

We are also a salon and sell hair products. We deal in Advocare weight loss products. In the past we offered purses, they didn't do too well.

I tried: body jewelry, reg jewelry, purses, candles, arbonne, avon....just to name a few. Never sold very well. Focus on what you specialize in and dont become a flea market.

I do very well with my boutique I added about 9 years ago. In my boutique I have jewelry (necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings), hats, sunglasses, belts, sandals, clothing, handbags, etc. It is very profitable! Would you by chance be able to give me some wholesalers to go through to buy jewelry handbags etc in my shop we are a new full service beauty salon and have UV and Sunless tanning but have space for the boutique end and would like to compare all things or use sites that are tried and true
