Rep Power: 13 | Banned From TanToady I was banned from tantoady today :) Reason? I told them about their injected/infected DB as a courtesy. I should have gotten a thanks I asked for nothing. Anyone that would ban you for trying to help should be SHUNNED by all in shame. I will try to help anyone that needs it and my advise is always stringless as I don't care what you buy. I just don't want you to OVERPAY. Tantalk ROCKS :) |

Rep Power: 13 | Re: Banned From TanToady Its a database injection of malware aka hack. In this case a redirect script which hijacks url requests. I offered to fix which might take 20 min for me to fix but they told me to F off. |

Rep Power: 13 | Re: Banned From TanToady to update a super nice guy named Gunnar sent me a note they had not been getting all my messages the days leading up to my open post about the infection. Those they did get were never answered. I have since helped a little bit on the backend but Gunnar is actually quite well armed to tackle the issue he is just wicked busy. the banning was due to somebody named Brian who does bed repairs someplace, doesn't have salons nor does he have a 6 figure banknote hanging over his head but he was man enough to post this response to a very distressed texas salon owner who recently bought a 30 thousand dollar brick. "Re: Beauty lounge violates texas laws It is the buyers ultimate responsibility to determine if what they purchase can be used in thier jurisdiction. The seller offers a product. They are not responsible for changes in laws that make your purchase unable to be utilized. There have been plenty of products that have been outlawed after the sale. That is the chance you take in business and being in business for ourself means that you are ultimately responsible for sucking up the loss. Being in business for yourself means that there is no one there to hold your hand or take the heat or the fall." Nothing on the line and he writes this to the poor owner that's looking for answers on a forum. Hopefully this type of behavior will hot happen on the new new new new new new tantalk.com |
