INCREASING PRICES!? So we have recently added 4 new beds and they are much more comfortable and tan better. well my question is...2 we added are lvl 1 and we still have one of the older beds as a level 1, and added 2 new level 2's and still have 2 of the same older ones. is it appropriate to increase prices by a little?? |
Re: INCREASING PRICES!? New beds or not........... I think we should all be raising prices |
Re: INCREASING PRICES!? i think so too! inflation! i know this has nothing to do with tanning but i drink lipton sweet tea, i buy one every day from a gas station(not the healthiest habit i have), and have been doing so for years, it has not changed one bit (packaging or taste) and has increased $1.00! so that being sad, just because the service/equipment is the same i think our prices should fluctuate as well. it's the world we live in. i'm not saying like $5 increase/tan but a little increase on single sessions and packages i think it a must. |
Re: INCREASING PRICES!? There is a formula for this. Basics: If you raise your prices 20%, you would lose no more than aprox. 17% of your business and still be making the same top line with less expenses equalling a better bottom line. So you do 84 customers a day vs. 100 and still make more money. Don't count heads, count bottom line dollars You will not lose if you are established and have good service. Do it- |
Re: INCREASING PRICES!? When they repeal the tanning tax, add another 10% on your prices and you will have your 20%!!!! |

Re: INCREASING PRICES!? The only way the tanning tax is going away any time soon is if the Supreme Court rules Obamacare is unconstitutional. Then it depends if they rule the total law should be thrown out or just parts of it. |
