Acrylics Crazing

I have 10 Soltron beds (Touchdown and Shouts) that have acrylics that are craving (little cracks). I recently purchased SolAcryl Acrylics from Loop Acrylics in chicago (a year and a half ago). These have a 10,000 hour limited warranty. Is anybody else having this problem?

Re: Acrylics Craving

One factor could also be the heat/ventilation causing those. Never bought from them though.

Do a search . This is a warranty issue .

Are you saying the loop acrylics are cracking just like the orginal acrylics did, that came with the Soltron beds? I was going to replace my soltron acrylics with loop acrylics. Heat and/or ventilation was never the reason that the soltron acrylics cracked/spidered.

Re: Acrylics Craving

I have had to replace 2 acrylic on my Ultra Sun tanning bed in a year with less then 5,000 hours on them. There was no warranty. They are so expensive to replace too.

Re: Acrylics Craving

Had original acylics from ergoline for years and I replaced a handful of them with loop acrylics, They not only crazed but had a couple actually CRACK within a year and I have never had that with an original Ergoline acrylic.

Excuuuuse me, my bad. Ergoline never called it "crazing" 5 years ago when they replaced all mine for spidering. I guess I'll replace them with the oem acrylics, maybe they've improved them in four years. The ones they replaced only lasted a year.

My post was directed at the initial post in the thread and the thread title which used the word "craving".
