Black Friday, will you be open? - tanTALK

Just wanted to find out from some of you with more experience. Do you plan to be open on black Friday, is it worth it, does anyone come in? If you have been open in the past did you have a special promotion for the day and did you see many customers?

We always open regular hours, and run specials for that day ONLY. We usually do well with it.

Here neither. We are closed Thursday thru Sunday. It wasn't worth it in other years, it certainly wouldn't be now. I have been open 3 1/2 hours and have had 1 sale for $12. I have 19 empty beds right now.

Yesterday and today suck... It's been really quiet here also, minimal massages also. It blows.

That sucks parrot head! I've seen 2 clients so far today, myself...ugh. We are also closed Thursday thru Sunday for Thanksgiving.......not worth turning the lights on. We did free margaritas last Thursday, sales were thru the roof during "happy hour" & It only cost me $40:) Got ppl in the doors that had never been here before:)

the last 2 years we were open 10am-2pm and ran a big sale but only had between 5-10 tanners and only made between $100-$300 each time. So i will not be open this year.

we opened and ran some specials on teeth whitening and HP visits and gift cards and did pretty well. may do it again, dunno.

We do well on Black Friday with specials, and Sat. and Sun. are business as usual. I just checked the numbers- typical for any other Sat. and Sun. No reason for us to close.

I'll be closed Thursday and Friday... I was open a couple of years ago and it wasn't worth it!
