Rep Power: 0  | Tanning tax to start July of next year? I just had a man from The Ferderation of Independently Owned Businesses (or something like that) come in to talk to me and tell me that his company fights for the rights of small business and that they just got the tax pushed back till July of next year. Are any of you aware of this? Is this true? |

Rep Power: 24 | Re: Tanning tax to start July of next year? The health care bill requires tax to start 7/1/2010. The Senate & House would have to amend the bill to delay the tax. Sounds like the local NFIB rep was blowing smoke. |

Every time I turn around, I'm seeing news articles mentioning the NFIB (National Federation of Independent Businesses) lobbying for this or that, usually supporting what I would consider the small biz, small government side. That being said, I can not easily determine who their lobbyists are. I would love to hear from other owners who have knowledge of the NFIB.
