Rep Power: 16 | Home bed acrylic stained One of my clients was telling me that his friend bought a bed. Friend's daughter mixed baby oil and iodine to tan with and the acrylic is stained. I told him I would ask around to see if there is a fix. I told him that I thought it will probably be permanently discolored. Does anyone know? The guy does not want to buy a new acrylic because it's half the cost of what he paid for the bed.

Re: Home bed acrylic stained One of the components of the Novus acrylic cleaner line actually takes off a few millimeters of the surface on the acrylics. Although it is really meant to remove heavy scratches in theory should also help take the stain off. http://www.lnt.com/product/acrylic-c...crylic-polish- I just replaced a bunch of acrylics. I have the old ones still. If you can get him in touch with me I have decent ones he can take as they were just routine replace outs. If they fit and he pays cost for packing and shipping I will send. | |

Rep Power: 16 | Re: Home bed acrylic stained He told me that it seeped into the unit also. I told him that part should not be an issue, the bed can be gotten into to clean. I don't know what make/model this unit is, my guess a home unit- so I'm not sure on the acrylic. I'll see if I can get some more info from him when I see him again this week.
