Rep Power: 0 | Re: Cosmo Article I WAS a Cosmo reader for years, then they mailed this issue to my house. I was P*ssed! WHat I really don't understand is how alot of the girls that Cosmo, and other media outlets, report on have been Lifeguards. So would someone please explain to me why they got skin cancer from tanning indoors for a few months out of the year, but the 3-5 years spent on the beach or by the pool have nothing to do with it? ALong with teaching our customers about healthy tanning, I alos tell my customers that going through the Mcdonalds drive through isn't healthy either, nor is smoking, burning candles, cooking with certain nonstick cookware, drinking, and pretty much every other day to day activity that 98% of us normal people do. Unfortunatly its our turn for negative media, but hopefully soon, they will put the spotlight on Mcdonalds again, and we can breathe easier. |
