Rep Power: 0 | business plan for tanning salon We have 350 sq ft in a commercial building with separate entrance. We are in the Central West Coast of Floirda (Tampa Bay area) We are looking to open a Tan Salon. The rent is covered by a doctor's office. We need to do something with the empty space. The space has four rooms and the front office. We are looking for a business plan. We already read that tanning business is down every where. What is the most expensive ticket item monthly for tanning business? rent equipment or buy equipment. How do we calculate break even? lots of questions in our mind What is the law about tanning? Will The FDA shut everybody down? |

Rep Power: 22 | Re: business plan for tanning salon 350 sq ft. isn't enough room for a salon. By the time you get a waiting/reception area, you might have room for 3 or 4 small beds. You most likely only have a 200 amp service in the area, so you are limited by that. I'd forget it. Too many questions, for too little space. Last edited by parrot head; 09-03-2010 at 02:13 PM. A business plan will be provided for you once you're open. They come in the mail. Always rent equipment, the best place to rent beds is at a car rental place, Yes they rent beds too, you just have to ask. The FDA shut everyone down last week. We just re-open in new locations every week. | |

Then, spend the remaining $25,000 on supplies in order to be well stocked when you open the doors. After that you just set back and smile as you go to the bank and deposit all your money. After over 5 years in my present location, I still get excited when I think of how I'm going to spend my 1-2% ROI. I still love and hate this business and wouldn't think about doing anything else.
